I was excited to to announce that we acquired EDM Group and specifically the business based in the UK. EDM UK which provides integrated information and data management services. It is a c.£30m revenue business with c.430 employees across six sites, with its headquarters in Wolverhampton.

We see EDM UK as an incredibly exciting and strategic acquisition for Restore and it will allow us to accelerate both our acquisition and organic growth plans as we deepen and develop relationships across both customer bases.

We had been in discussions with the Senior Management Team at EDM for a little while and completed a thorough due diligence process. We knew that EDM was a strong and healthy business that would provide us with additional scale; 1.9m boxes, a range of new customers in Records Management, and capacity for growth, it also improves the scale and breadth of our Digital offering to create a clear Digital leader in the market.

We see great alignment in the cultures of our two businesses – we are both very customer focused and pragmatic. While there will obviously be some different ways of working, we’ll work together to understand and adopt a “best in class” approach. We are looking forward to learning more about the EDM business and understanding some of the strengths and developments that we’ve already observed.
